only a few more sleeps before Spring wedding season is here, so we had us a little ‘style inspo’ shoot to kick things off. Thank you to our wonderful vendors for their collaboration. They did a pretty amazing job, that is why they are among the best of the best of Wagga Wagga wedding vendors. Natalie and Lauren at the Style Bar in hair and makeup, and Soph at Little Triffids you guys are amazing thank you. Special mention to our lovely model Emily and also to Bec from St Prin Jewellery. We have been there to watch Bec’s little business grow and we loved having her along for this crazy fun day… and anyways we NEEDED!!! those earrings right? Also for the bride on a budget good to know our gown, fur and boots were all pre-loved. Emphasise on the love here people.. Steph and Lawrence (Loz..or Lossa). Country people.. The best of the best. I am not at all biased, but growing up in Deniliquin NSW I feel I was back home amongst family.. the dust, the boots, the utes and the ol ‘why don’t I just tell you the directions bugger google maps and don’t forget to shut the gate’ I love this place. I mean there is a LOT to love, if you like wide open spaces you need to trek down this road where the old stock routes travelled. The Hay Plains, Conargo Pub and Jerilderie NSW, home of legends. From the banks of the Billabong Creek, to Steph and Loz’s cutest baby boy we had some serious black tie awesomeness right through til we hit the Dancefloor. Calvin and Bec you were just the best. I love that your wedding day was just the way it should be… simply full of joy and happiness. It makes my cheeks hurt thinking of it. I remember that awesome stormy sky Magpies Nest put on for you, and how it didn’t once cause any stress because it was your wedding day dammit ( no secrets we love a Bridechilla). Brides in boots are also high on our list of good things, as well as Grace Loves Lace and hanging with Hayley and her team at Maggies…Oh it was good. Ash from With Love Bespoke Styling who was responsible for those ridiculously good bridal bouquets also needs a mention. Reliving this day got me thinking of that song .. something about take me back, summertime, hot sand..Bondi beach… you can’t get any more Aussie than that. It was a hot summers day when I headed along to photograph this wedding alongside buddy Ell from Dolce Films, oh yeah we totally rocked the country girls in the city thing. .. and it was HOT. It could have been a sticky and uncomfortable day, but it was so much the opposite. These guys were rockstars* ..the good looking Aussie lad and the ‘old fashioned chicken burger with the lot ‘ type of girl. I love that I know this about Lauryn, when I met her she certainly looked more like a gourmet chicken with aioli on rye type.. anyway I digress. Their wedding day was ten out of ten. Kate and Aaron (Bendooley Estate Wedding)

Oh beautiful Bowral I am happy to visit you ANYTIME but seriously this wedding was a bit special. Firstly of course Bendooley Estate and the Book Barn at Berrima. This venue is ridiculously picturesque, believe me we don’t even like to use the word picturesque for fear of sounding like a travel blog. We also got to revisit this lovely lot SEE HERE (so good to photograph families we have met before!!) and lastly but not leastly Kate and Aaron. Two of the kindest and loveliest souls you will ever meet. I have so much gratitude for being asked to capture this wedding. To pick a favourite moment? it would have to be when he first saw her walk down the aisle…at that moment everyone knew they were witness to something pretty special. Thanks again Kate and Aaron. So good. So exceptionally awesome. So Perfectamundo. This wedding was The Fonz cool , not only did we get to photograph and watch the sun go down from the gorgeous River Deck Restaurant in Albury, but we got to hang with some to Albury’s finest, seriously we had such a good time with this couple, who were so relaxed and lovely… and a bit super stylish if we don’t say so ourselves.
