I can’t believe it is a year ago already that these two sharp dressed men got married. We photograph so many weddings and they are all so different the one thing they do have in common is this crazy little thing that seems to be the centre of it all, it hangs around and makes you want to smile even years later. Guys, we loved your day so much, so much so we walked away wanting to be friends with your friends, we want to dance to your music.. I think it is safe to say we will be back Sydney (hello Surry Hills we freakin love you) Thank you to the most excellent of venues The Beta Bar and to the Paramount House Hotel for having us, Toto we are not in Kansas anymore.
Oh and by the way we were talking about that old cad LOVE. Of course back way back in 2018 we were also talking about Marriage Equality, not a huge lot was said about it on Mark and Gareth’s wedding day, but behind the lens I was thinking how extraordinarily resilient people are and also how lucky we are that we said yes to marriage equality. To quote the Prime Minister.
“We’ve voted today for equality, for love, it’s time for more marriages, more commitment, more love, more respect,” he said. “This is Australia: fair, diverse, loving and filled with respect.” here here. now lets party.
